Primary School Learning

Empowering Every Child to Learn, Grow and Thrive

At Hope Academy, we believe that every child can succeed when learning is meaningful, personalized, and connected to their individual strengths and needs. Our Primary School program provides a nurturing and engaging environment where students develop academic knowledge, confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Florida B.E.S.T Standards

Students follow a broad and balanced curriculum that incorporates English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, and enrichment opportunities through Character Education, Music, and Tech. Academic instruction is aligned with the Florida B.E.S.T. Standards, ensuring students develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving.

Learning is designed to be active, engaging, and relevant. Through hands-on activities, inquiry, collaborative learning, and real-world experiences, students develop the skills needed to become confident learners and active members of their community.

A Personalized Approach

We recognize that every learner develops at their own pace. Teachers use ongoing assessment, individualized supports, intervention systems, and evidence-based teaching practices to ensure all students can access learning and experience success. Our small class sizes and collaborative approach allow us to understand each student's unique profile and create pathways that support academic growth alongside personal development.

Core Curriculum Subjects

Students study English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, with learning in every subject connected through our IMPACT initiative. Select a subject below to see what students learn and its key areas of focus.

Through IMPACT, students are encouraged to apply literacy skills in real-world contexts.
