Middle School Curriculum
Middle School Welcome
On behalf of our Middle School Team, it is my pleasure to welcome new, returning, and prospective students and their families to Hope Academy.
Middle School is such an exciting time of growth and change. Our students are discovering who they are, developing their independence, finding new interests, and learning to navigate the world around them. Our goal is to make these years a positive and memorable part of their journey, one where students feel known, supported, challenged, and, most importantly, that they belong.
Learning Through Connection, Exploration, and Courage
Our small and close-knit community allows us to really get to know our students and celebrate what makes each of them unique. Through engaging lessons, meaningful relationships, hands-on experiences, and opportunities to explore their interests, we encourage students to be curious, take risks, learn from their mistakes, and grow in confidence.
Our teaching and learning are guided by our IMPACT initiative, which encourages students to take an active role in their learning. We want students to ask questions, explore ideas, collaborate with others, experience learning in different ways, and make meaningful connections to the world around them. At the same time, we recognize that every student learns differently, and we work to provide the support, challenge, and feedback each student needs to continue moving forward.
But Middle School is about more than academics. It is about building confidence, developing character, forming friendships, discovering passions, and learning how to become a little more independent each day. We want our students to leave Middle School not only as strong learners, but as kind, confident, capable young people who believe in themselves.
I am so excited for the year ahead and feel incredibly lucky to be part of this community. We look forward to learning, laughing, growing, and making plenty of memories together.
