   **Students in Grades 5-12 are expected      to have their own laptop (with

   charger) and headphones with them       each day for classes. A personal iPad does not meet this requirement.

School Supplies


Most school supplies are covered by the Book and Supply Fee and purchased by the school. This has been done to promote the school-wide organization plan. 


For the 2017/ 2018 school year, students are required to bring the following: 


Supplies for PreK4- Grade 4

A comfortable backpack appropriate for your child’s size
1 pkg of baby wipes
1 container of Clorox wipes
2 boxes of Kleenex
1 oversized, old t-shirt to use as Art apron
Water bottle- with name on it
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
Headphones (not earbuds)

Supplies for 5th Grade

A comfortable backpack (wheels recommended)
Laptop computer**, charger and case
USB Jump drive/memory stick
Headphones (not earbuds)
1 pkg of baby wipes
1 container of Clorox wipes
2 boxes of Kleenex
1 oversized, old t-shirt to use as Art apron
Water bottle- with name on it

Supplies for 6th -12th Grade

A comfortable backpack (wheels recommended)

Lunch Program


A  lunch menu is available for students to pre-order from Hurley's each month. The completed lunch menu and funds are due at the office prior to the start of the month. 

Students in KG- Grade 8 eat in the Hall. 


Students in Grades 9-12 are allowed to go to Hurley's to purchase their lunch. They may either eat under the tent or in the Hall. The Hall closes at 11:50 for students to go outside for recess. 


Please note, we are a peanut- free school. 


Uniforms


The uniform consists of any solid color polo, with the logo added to the upper left side, and khaki, navy, or black pants, shorts or skorts. 


Uniform shirts should be embroidered at Island Embroidery. 


Closed-toe shoes are to be worn with socks; sneakers or school shoes are permitted. 


Hope Academy sweatshirts/ "hoodies" will be available to purchase at the beginning of the school year.
